Studio GGSV Kicks Off the Pavillon Programme by Manufactures nationales – Sèvres & Mobilier national

Mobilier national, Paris

Nestled in the heart of the Gobelins neighbourhood, the Pavillon d’Angiviller is one of Paris’s most precious Art Deco treasures. On January 1st, 2025, Mobilier national and the Cité de la céramique – Sèvres & Limoges merged together to become Manufactures nationales – Sèvres & Mobilier national. Under the leadership of this new entity, the Pavillon d’Angiviller and its heritage are now engaged in a dialogue with today’s trends thanks to the Pavillon program. With this initiative, contemporary designers are given carte blanche to design the interior of this emblematic 200m2 space. The privilege was first bestowed upon Gaelle Gabillet and Stéphane Villard, founders of Studio GGSV. Working with craftsmen and 13 different companies, the duo designed bespoke furniture and décor for three living spaces: the Reading Room, the Conversation Room and the Reception Room.

At the opening event, held on Thursday, March 20th, we met Gaëlle Gabillet, Stéphane Villard, René-Jacques Meyer, Mathieu Lehanneur, Hervé Lemoine and many others.
