Born in Toulon in 1992, French singer and actress Camélia Jordana first gained recognition in 2009, when she starred in the French television talent show Nouvelle Star. Following her successful venture, she signed a contract with Sony Music and released her debut album, Camélia Jordana, a year later. The singer’s career continued to flourish, and she went on to release several more albums, including Dans la peau (2014) and Lost (2018), the latter of which earned her a Victoire de la Musique award in the category World Music Album of the Year. The same year, she successfully transitioned to the big screen, and won the César Award for Best Female Revelation for her role in Yvan Attal’s Le Brio alongside Daniel Auteuil. Alongside her music, Camélia Jordana has also established herself as a talented actress, appearing in various films and television series since 2013, including Le Brio, for which she won the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 2018. She released her latest Facile x Fragile in 2021, and in 2025, she was selected as a member of the jury for the Short Films and CINEF selections for the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
